Reconnect with childhood through Play Therapy

Play therapy gives your child and your family the expertise and space needed to build resilience, restore peace, and thrive together.

Whether your family is struggling with sleep, anxiety, social struggles, trauma, or some big changes, therapy is here to empower children to try new things and view themselves with respect and value in a collaborative way.

My approach is neurodivergence affirming and sincerely rooted in respecting the value of all expressions and family structures.

What to expect

You will be able to expect an in-depth intake without your child present to explore your concerns and history

Following this, Play therapy will begin with you child. Typically, therapy last 18-22 weekly sessions

Your therapist will follow up regularly to check in on goals and provide support and discuss concluding therapy

Play therapy uses the language of imagination, narrative, and exploration of new ideas to give kids the freedom they need to navigate their problems. CCPT relies on the therapist as a collaborator to help client work through their concerns and problem behaviors in their own time. This child centered approach gives kids the tools for long term change that aligns with and supports their personality.
